ABOUT THE OWNERS
Robert and Vanessa Whittaker have a deep affection for Fort Worth, Texas. Vanessa, originally from New Mexico, wasted no time in making this vibrant city her home. With her extensive background in HR, she efficiently oversees the day-to-day office operations that keep our company running smoothly.
For Robert, construction has been a lifelong passion. After graduating from Texas Tech University, he embarked on a journey that led him to establish two thriving landscape and irrigation companies across Texas. Now, he is wholeheartedly dedicated to crafting the finest fences and outdoor living spaces in North Texas. Together, Robert and Vanessa pour their hearts and souls into every Magnolia Fence & Patio project.

Robert started Magnolia Fence & Patio after a career in landscape maintenance and construction. He found clients were just not being listened to and wanted to change the industry. Always working in construction, Robert has built the business around trusting relationships and unmatched craftsmanship. Starting with a tool bag and nail gun, he grew the company to what it is now. His hands-on approach has allowed Magnolia Fence & Patio to be innovative, creative, and reliable.

From back-end logistics to the front of the office. Dakota oversees the day-to-day operations of Magnolia Fence & Patio.
Dakota joined our team in 2020. He has jumped right in with his experience and knowledge. He began his trade by finishing out commercial buildings and starting to finish builds, ranging from residential homes to fast food restaurants.
He is leading our patio construction, focusing on our outdoor living products and services.

He started playing at age 5 and went on to compete at the Division I level at Longwood University before moving to Texas in 2014.
After several years in healthcare marketing, Scott realized he missed being close to the game. In 2025, he returned to coaching youth baseball, a move that helped bring his passion for sports back into his professional life. At Magnolia, he helps build relationships with sports clients, shape new opportunities, and connect teams, programs, and brands with the right support to reach their goals.
He’s also a proud dad to his two daughters, Laurel and Camille, who are the heart of everything he does.
